Biography

Gwen M. Schoenfeld began practicing law at the international firm of Rogers & Wells (now part of Clifford Chance), where she worked on complex civil litigation as well as criminal matters. She later became associated with Goldman & Hafetz, a premier litigation firm, where she represented clients in criminal, civil and administrative proceedings that included allegations of securities, tax, and insurance fraud, as well as money laundering, kickback schemes, and sexual abuse. Subsequently, she worked as an assistant district attorney in the Appeals Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, where Gwen responded to defendants’ appeals, post-trial motions, and habeas corpus petitions. Currently, Gwen represents clients who are facing sentencing or challenging their convictions on appeal or through other post-conviction proceedings.
